Los l\u00edderes de la sede mundial se han reunido para concluir los \u00faltimos n\u00fameros del Acuerdo de Par\u00eds, y los <a href=\"https:\/\/energystoragesolutions.com\/\">sistemas de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda<\/a> ser\u00e1n clave para permitir que crezca la energ\u00eda limpia. Estamos tratando con una tecnolog\u00eda que resuelve la intermitencia de las energ\u00edas renovables y la estabilidad de la red. Aunque la energ\u00eda solar y e\u00f3lica son las dos formas m\u00e1s atractivas y rentables de generar energ\u00eda limpia, ambas destacan un problema que los combustibles f\u00f3siles no tienen: la producci\u00f3n ininterrumpida. Cuando se enciende un interruptor o un televisor, la reacci\u00f3n es inmediata y esperamos que nunca o casi nunca falle. Sin embargo, si solo dependi\u00e9ramos de la producci\u00f3n solar o e\u00f3lica, cuando una nube cubriera el sol o el viento dejara de soplar en un \u00e1rea de molinos de viento, se producir\u00edan valles de producci\u00f3n. Del mismo modo, cuando pasara la nube y se reanudase el viento, los picos de producci\u00f3n entrar\u00edan en la red.<\/p>\n<p>Las energ\u00edas renovables son el \u00fanico futuro y su introducci\u00f3n en la vida social aumenta d\u00eda a d\u00eda, as\u00ed como el desmantelamiento de nuestro modelo actual de generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda, que parec\u00eda ser la alternativa para gestionar estos picos y valles de producci\u00f3n. Hoy en d\u00eda, las bater\u00edas se afirman como los grandes aliados contra el cambio clim\u00e1tico por varias razones:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mejoran el rendimiento de las energ\u00edas renovables y fortalecen su penetraci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>Permiten una transici\u00f3n m\u00e1s suave y segura de los combustibles f\u00f3siles a las energ\u00edas renovables.<\/li>\n<li>Resuelven el problema de interrupci\u00f3n de producci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>Cada vez son m\u00e1s baratas de fabricar.<\/li>\n<li>Las nuevas materias primas, adem\u00e1s del litio, aumentan su vida \u00fatil.<\/li>\n<li>Los costes de instalaci\u00f3n est\u00e1n disminuyendo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Las bater\u00edas de iones de litio han cambiado nuestras vidas y podr\u00edan ser la clave para cambiar completamente el paisaje ecol\u00f3gico y cuidar el planeta en relaci\u00f3n con el uso de energ\u00eda. El Premio Nobel de Qu\u00edmica 2019 fue otorgado al estadounidense John B. Goodenough, al brit\u00e1nico Stanley Whittingham y al japon\u00e9s Akira Yoshino por, seg\u00fan la Real Academia de Ciencias de Suecia, \u00absentar las bases para una sociedad sin cables y libre de combustibles f\u00f3siles\u00bb. Curiosamente, en el mismo mes, la poblaci\u00f3n de Carolina del Norte aument\u00f3 la inversi\u00f3n en energ\u00eda solar y sistemas de almacenamiento despu\u00e9s del apag\u00f3n debido a los continuos incendios en el \u00e1rea. Aquellos que han experimentado las consecuencias de una interrupci\u00f3n de la red pueden decir que las bater\u00edas son la soluci\u00f3n m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida, f\u00e1cil y, por lo tanto, la mejor. Seg\u00fan la informaci\u00f3n publicada por <strong><em>The Economist<\/em><\/strong>, el \u00faltimo presupuesto aprobado por el Departamento de Energ\u00eda de los Estados Unidos ascendi\u00f3 a 28 millones de d\u00f3lares, en comparaci\u00f3n con los 150 millones de d\u00f3lares de inversi\u00f3n para la extracci\u00f3n de carbono.<\/p>\n<p>El uso de sistemas de almacenamiento tiene una serie de ventajas que respaldan la descarbonizaci\u00f3n del modelo actual de producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda. De hecho, la dependencia que los proyectos de energ\u00eda renovable tienen de ellos est\u00e1 creciendo al mismo ritmo que las solicitudes de conexi\u00f3n a la red de plantas fotovoltaicas y parques e\u00f3licos. Seg\u00fan el \u00faltimo informe de la<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/the-european-association-for-storage-of-energy_energy-storage-for-a-decarbonised-europe-activity-6607910849069883392-pOt2\"> Asociaci\u00f3n Europea para el Almacenamiento de Energ\u00eda (EASA)<\/a>, como parte de la soluci\u00f3n, \u00abel despliegue del almacenamiento de energ\u00eda puede facilitar la transici\u00f3n a un sistema de energ\u00eda neta de cero emisiones para 2050 de muchas maneras\u00bb. Al permitir una mayor proporci\u00f3n de fuentes de energ\u00eda renovables variables (vRES) en la combinaci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica, al tiempo que se reducen las vRES en tiempos de exceso de oferta; distribuci\u00f3n; o permitiendo a los consumidores activos optimizar el autoconsumo y \/ o la provisi\u00f3n de servicios de flexibilidad de la red, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p>Como conclusi\u00f3n, podemos decir que las tecnolog\u00edas de almacenamiento de bater\u00edas est\u00e1n en constante evoluci\u00f3n, a medida que los cient\u00edficos e ingenieros trabajan para encontrar soluciones de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda m\u00e1s baratas, m\u00e1s seguras, m\u00e1s livianas y m\u00e1s flexibles y potentes, sus sistemas se est\u00e1n generalizando y los expertos predicen rangos de
