EMS

E22’s Energy Management System (EMS) is a control platform with the flexibility for integrate control; optimization; and energy planification modules on demand, customized with alarms notifications and report analysis amongst other features. E22’s EMS is designed under an open, scalable, universal SCADA platform that offers unlimited licensing  and instant web-based deployment.

This excellent and reliable control platform is able to properly manage large scale Storage Systems, such as VRF or Li-ion batteries systems, alongside different industrial electrical generation systems (solar, wind, etc.), in order to maximize the net operation revenue of the global system.

E22’s EMS is a perfect partner for O&M, being capable  to carry out O&M operations efficiently, keeping the Energy System Operator informed of the actual behavior of the entire facility. The unit can also send information directly to an identified defective equipment provider for merely info or to request approval for intervention. These features reduce O&M personal cost and also reduce unavailability cost of the energy subsystems.

BMS

E22’s Battery Management System (BMS) has been designed to manage E22’s VRFBs systems. This control system has the flexibility to maximize the battery performance, adapting the Auxiliary Power consumption to the minimum level to maximize the Battery System Efficiency. Also, E22’s BMS can adequate the E22’s VRFBs electrochemical behavior to any energy and power application.

One distinctive feature of the E22’s BMS is the ability to analyze and diagnose the  component’s State of Health and immediately send an internal info to LEMS and EMS to activate a preventive maintenance. This type of alarm info so generated by the BMS prevents that the identified event raises to an Emergency Stop System event.

This state-of-the-art control system comes along fully integrated with the E22’s VRFBs systems and it’s not commercialized separately.

LEMS

E22’s Local Energy Management System (LEMS) has been engineered to manage properly the coordination between the BMS and Power Control System (PCS). This coordination optimize the round trip efficiency (AC/AC efficiency) operating both system properly, considering the electrical conditions of the POC and the Control Setpoints from the EMS.

E22’s LEMS also guarantees the PCS strategies at the Point of Connection (POC) and is prepared to provide customers a flexible and limited Control SCADA platform to monitoring and reporting the state of the entire energy storage system (PCS and BMS).
